Circuit & Bench writes short, practical notes on equipment for the desk and the home. The aim is to answer the question that actually decides a purchase: does it fit the space, does it talk to what I already own, and can it be repaired or replaced part by part.

What is on the site

• 10 product notes, grouped by the job each product does.
• 3 buying guides covering the decisions that come before a purchase.
• No prices, no star ratings and no product photographs copied from a retailer.

How the site is paid for

Affiliate links. When a reader follows one and buys, the retailer pays a commission; the price does not change for the reader. The affiliate disclosure explains this in full, including what we refuse to do.

Independence

No brand pays for a place in a shortlist, a review or a comparison. Products are added because they are a reasonable answer to a real question in this niche, and removed when they stop being one.
